The Oak Ridge & Milton "Boom" Homes

If you live in the Oak Ridge or Milton sections of town, chances are your home was built during the major residential boom between 1975 and 1995. This era produced beautiful, large properties - Colonials, Bi-levels, and Split-levels often sitting on sizeable wooded lots.

The challenge with these homes is that the original builder-grade vinyl or aluminum siding has reached the end of its lifespan. After 30+ years, the original vinyl becomes brittle in the winter and fades significantly in the summer sun. A stray baseball or even a rock from a lawnmower can easily crack or shatter these older panels.
